Invite a friend to stay

Invite a friend to just one room or to the whole Space. They stay until you remove them.

What it is

Friends join as lasting members through an invitation in the app. You choose Just #room (only the room you’re inviting from) or The whole Space (every open room). Either way they stay until you remove them.

When to use it

Use it for people who should stay. For a quick visit, share a guest pass instead.

How to do it

  1. On the People tab, tap Invite people. Or, inside a room, tap the invite button at the top. Pick the Room at the top.

  2. Your friends are listed under Invite a friend. Tap Invite next to someone.

  3. Choose Just #room or The whole Space. You see Invitation sent.

  4. They get a notification. At the top of their People tab, under Invitations, they tap Join or No thanks.

  5. Already in the Space but not in this room? Their row says Add to #room. If you’re a Space owner or admin, tapping it adds them right away and they get a notification. If you manage just the room, they get an invitation to accept.
