Lower the sensitivity, lower mic boost, or switch talk style in very loud spots.

What it is

Open mic is built to ignore bangs, beeps and machines, but very loud or voice-like sounds can still get through.

Try these if people hear noise from you when you aren’t talking.

Set Open mic sensitivity to Low.
Turn Mic boost down or off.
Give it a few seconds in a new spot. It learns steady noise like fans and motors.
Near a radio or a loudspeaker with people talking? Open mic can’t tell that voice from yours. Switch to Hold or Tap there.
