Transcripts: turn them on or off
A Space owner or admin turns transcripts on or off for each room.
What it is
Transcripts turn what people say into text you can read and search. They’re made on KeyUp’s own servers. They’re off by default, and a Space owner or admin decides which rooms use them.
When to use it
Use this to start saving transcripts in a room, or to stop.
How to do it

Open the room and tap Room settings. Under Limits and transcripts, turn Save transcripts on or off.

To set a default for new rooms, go to People › Space settings and set transcripts on or off by default.

Everyone in the room sees a Transcribing badge while it’s on, so nobody is transcribed without knowing.
