Transcription and AI permissions
Decide if your voice can be turned into text and if the AI can hear you.
What it is
Two switches control your voice: Transcribe my voice and Let the AI assistant hear me. Both are yours to decide.
When to use it
Use it to allow or stop transcripts and the assistant for you.
How to do it

Go to You › Privacy.

Transcribe my voice: on means that in rooms with transcripts, what you say is saved as text. Off means it never is.

Let the AI assistant hear me: needed to ask the assistant questions. Off means it never hears you.

In a room with transcripts, you’ll see a Transcribing badge. If your voice isn’t being transcribed, the room shows a short note and an Allow button.
