Message and call friends

Friends show up first when you start a message or a call, on your phone and your watch.

What it is

Friends and people who share a Space with you are all in one list. Friends come first so the people you talk to most are easy to find.

When to use it

Use it to reach a friend who is not in any of your Spaces.

How to do it

  1. On the Messages tab, tap New message. Your friends are under Friends at the top, and everyone else is under From your Spaces.

  2. Tap a person to open your chat with them.

  3. On the watch, swipe up and tap Call someone. Friends are at the top and say Friend.
